By first analyzing a client’s existing system, and then offering flexible solutions as needed, we are able to ensure that our clients can access and remain connected to critical systems. And remain accessible to the information that will allow them to better serve their patients.

Our approach to IT circles back to our core concept of customer care, to supply the necessary support that will allow our clients to succeed. With over 120 seasoned experts on staff (many with 20+ years of IT experience), our team has the ability to build a host of customized IT solutions. These can range from the establishment of basic connectivity (allowing lab orders to be placed, and results retrieved) through to the assembly of a full IT network. Whatever a client needs, our full-service team can provide.

Comprehensive Connectivity to Different Systems
Our IT department operates within an open connectivity environment, using an industry-standard interface engine that deploys connectivity between all systems. We offer our clients a wide range of technology; we are not limited to options offered by only one or two vendors. We have established relationships with a number of key IT providers, allowing access to a host of applications and systems with broader capabilities (e.g. clients can connect to diverse areas such as labs, radiology, and pharmacy). As a result, we have the ability to deliver a client’s information when needed, where needed and in the format desired.

Security, Accessibility and Efficiency
LabVision forms the cornerstone of many of our offered IT solutions. A secure, Web-based application, LabVision is easily configured and allows a client (and/or their office) to place lab orders electronically from any Internet connection and Web browser. It also provides a convenient means for tracking the status of ordered tests, and retrieving lab results on-demand. Other LabVision workflow benefits include multiple, automated printing options (e.g. printing order requisitions, specimen labels and daily order manifests). LabVision also manages Medical Necessity checking, and produces Advance Beneficiary Notices (ABN) when needed for Medicare patients.

By reducing paperwork, and streamlining operations, LabVision provides more time for patient interaction, thus allowing for improved customer care.

Another service option is access to an EMR/EHR ecosystem. If a client does not have EMR software or hardware, Solstas Lab Partners provides a hosted solution through Software as Service (SaaS). Through SaaS, a client can have the flexibility of selecting different modules and functionalities on-demand, choosing only those that apply, thus incurring a significant cost savings. As offered through SaaS, the EMR/EHR ecosystem is secure, and is fully compliant with Stark laws. Solstas Lab Partners currently interfaces with 800 EMR/EHRs, and we partner with over 200 vendors.
