Spectrum Laboratory Network, a full-service regional medical laboratory headquartered in Greensboro, NC, is a joint venture formed by High Point Regional Health System and the Moses Cone Health System with the original intent to consolidate laboratory functions. This organization is the reality of a vision of the health systems to create a centralized clinical reference laboratory serving its constituent health care systems and Spectrum's clients in a multi-state area. Pooling resources and expertise from all systems has proven to be a wonderful opportunity to build on the successes to create superb services and outstanding quality for all of our clients and affiliates.

In 2004, Spectrum purchased MEDex Laboratories in Tennessee expanding its hospital base to 10 and adding an additional 1,200 physicians to its network.

Today, Spectrum covers the Southeast providing laboratory services to over 7,000 physicians, 10 hospitals, nursing homes, home health, clinics, urgent care facilities, business and industries. Spectrum separates itself from its competitors by providing hospital-quality, exceptional customer service and nationally recognized web-based order entry and delivery of results technology.
